The Jr. Automation Test Engineer will design, create and review automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications. The ideal person has experience with testability, robustness, and performance of production software. The QA engineering team creates and executes automation test scripts and frameworks to assist the manual testing process. Collaboration with Product Owners, SW Engineers, QA Analysts and delivery teams in a SAFe/Agile and Waterfall environments will be highly desired and this person will be a part of passionate consulting team that enjoys delivering high-quality applications, enhancing the customer's experience, and improving operational efficiency by developing test suites.

• Perform automation testing of web based and mobile applications and design, develop and execute automation scripts using JMeter, Selenium, Cypress and Postman. 
• Create, write and run automated tests for web/mobile applications while reviewing requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases working with Product Owners to validate and review the automation cases.
• Set up, maintain, and perform test automation scripts and frameworks on multiple application platforms and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Perform system testing, verifying conformance to established requirements and diagnose causes of failures while developing formal test procedures. 
• Create and execute test specifications from design requirements, analyzing and reporting test results and reporting on defect resolution.
• Assist in preparing test plans and prepare detailed test cases for software functionality, installation, and usability.
• Set up test environment and test new product releases/builds in addition to verifying user guides and installation documents.

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• 3+ years’ of experience in Software Test Automation (Web/Mobile) is required
• Knowledge on web automation using JMeter/Selenium/Cypress/Postman
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to be able to read and understand front-end web code
• Some prior experience with the standard software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support)
• Experience in testing SOAP Service, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Good Knowledge or understanding of different web/mobile/API security mechanisms.
• Experience designing, developing, and running scripts to automate testing.

• Previous experience with Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, CA, IBM SevOne) is a plus
• ServiceNow experience is preferred
• Expertise in Agile SAFe methodologies, iterative methodologies and Behavior Driven Development techniques is highly preferred
