Sr. Application Support Engineer
Role description
The Sr. Application Support Analyst will oversee, develop, drive and assist with aspects within the execution of the assigned projects within CRM & Marketing area through all project phases (e.g., project planning, execution, communication and issues/risk mitigation). This person will serve as the “owner” of IT and SW development side of technology projects (plan, requirements document, oversees testing, deployment/implementation, production). The ideal person can manage client expectations and ensures project delivery in conformance with company software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and must have excellent communication skills in both English/Spanish.
Responsibilities:
· Oversees, develops, and drives the execution of the assigned projects within CRM & Marketing area. This candidate will manage the projects with a defined start and end.
· Plans, develops, coordinates and assists with project activities through all project phases (e.g., project planning, execution, communication and issues/risk mitigation).
· Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project
· Serve as Owner/responsible of the IT side of technology projects (plan, requirements document, oversees testing, deployment/implementation, production).
· Support Project Managers, QA, SW Engineers, and Technical Analysts in the full application lifecycle, focusing on technical troubleshooting while liaising with developers, designers and system administrators to maintain and optimize operations.
· Own the end-to-end project activities such as reporting, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization).
· Maintain regular contact with clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments and manage client expectations and ensures project delivery in conformance with company software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree is required
· Must have excellent communication skills as they will be in constant communication with customers and internal teams within SDLC
· Minimum 8 years’ experience working on technology projects required
· Experience working in these technologies: Linux, APIs (API Connect, Mulesoft), Informatica PowerCenter
· Must have experience using DB2, Java, HCL Unica/Interact
· Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate technical designs, project issues, and project status is required.
· Ability to understand how the applications work from an architecture, infrastructure
Preferred Requirements:
· Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
· Knowledgeable of marketing (promotional offers) and banking industry is highly preferred
· Experience in project implementations as SME or System Analyst, experience in Digital, CRM and Personalization programs is highly desired
