Role description
Job Duties:
- Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions to create project plans in efforts towards modernizing, optimizing and innovating digital solutions across various business units within financial areas.
- Lead the development and collection of business requirements, functional designs, process maps, and user test plans while serving as an internal subject matter expert on the designated deployed technology solutions across multiple business units.
- Perform requirements gathering, analysis, and synthesis of information for system definition and produce timely and high-quality requirements-related work products, including requirement specifications, process flows, mock-ups and wireframes.
- Facilitate and execute periodic testing and implementation of contingency plans to ensure availability of applications in case of system failure.
- Oversee and spearhead the design, development, implementation and successful embedding of all change project deliverables aligned to the project scope and required delivery outcomes.
- Lead projects, manages business expectations and process performance, and conduct project milestone reviews, continuous improvement, and causal analysis activities.
- Drive the preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets in addition to managing release plans, including scope, schedule, documentation and coordination with other teams.
- Develop and maintain user support documentation, analyze software maintenance requirements including trouble report and change proposal analysis and propose economical and efficient solutions as part of developing IT solutions to user requirements.
- Meet with executive level stakeholders e.g. Board Members, Management Committee, Operating Committee, and other senior leadership forums to elicit questions to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder’s needs, and that lead to an understanding of the business needs.
Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required (written, verbal)
- 4+ years’ experience managing technology projects in the banking/financial industry
- Ability to identify risk, probability, impact and how to mitigate risks
- Must be comfortable with numbers (financial analysis) and reporting to show progress and statis of project and applications
- Proven success within Agile/Scrum and Enterprise PMO environments
Plus:
- Knowledge in SAP applications and modules (preferred)
