Role description
Job Duties:
- Develop existing process diagrams, SW designs, and communicate changes to development team while collaborating closely with IT Team members and business units such as credit/debit cards.
- Serve as technical liaison between teams regarding new system implementations, development, integration, and changes while collaborating with management to design technical solution.
- Gather, analyze and document business and technical requirements (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, TSO/ISPF) within for solution deployments in addition to communicating updates and project status reports when necessary to management.
- Work with developers and developing on site to deploy technology solutions and gather functional requirements by conducting detailed interviews with management, end users, and business unit stakeholders.
- Define business case(s) as needed, elicit information from stakeholders and participate in “Go Live” project development throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Assist in converting requests/user stories into requirements and tasks in the product backlog.
Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Must be bilingual in English & Spanish (verbal, written, reading)
- 2-4+ years’ experience designing technical solutions within mainframe environments
- Previous experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, TSO/ISPF
- Must have previous experience in the banking industry within Debit Cards (embossing, fulfillment, authorization, servicing)
- Experience with ISO 8583 standards and credit cards is required
- Good communication skills are a must as this role will be in constant communication with the line of business
Plus:
- Previous experience with Microfocus Cobol, PAS (Partenon Authorization Switcher) are highly preferred
